The Keighley and Worth Valley Steam Railway one of Britains finest preserved lines is situated near to Woodlands. Vintage steam and diesel trains operate all year round from six restored stations at Haworth, Oxenhope, Keighley, Ingrow, Damems and Oakworth. The vintage Railway Carriage Museum at Ingrow Railway Station contains a fascinating collection of historic railway coaches. Visitors can climb into compartments and join travellers from the past through sound presentations.

Haworth Parsonage, once home to the famous literary Bronte family is located at the top of the cobbled Main Street. Opened as a museum in 1928 it is owned and administered by The Bronte Society. The Parsonage is set out with the Brontes own furniture and possessions, bringing the rooms to life as they would have been in the time of the Brontes. Examples of the world famous little books and the writing desks belonging to Charlotte, Emily and Ann can always be seen as can Branwells striking portraits of local people and a changing display of Charlotte’s tiny dresses, bonnets and shoes.
Haworth is the perfect rural moorland location to explore Yorkshire and beyond.
Within easy reach of Keighley Bradford, Leeds, Halifax, Saltaire and Hebden Bridge and situated close to the Pennine Way. Perfect for walkers.
